El Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales respondi\u00f3 al reclamo presentado por las escuelas de surf y establecimientos comerciales de Playa Encuentro, reconociendo la preocupaci\u00f3n por el tr\u00e1nsito de veh\u00edculos en la playa y reiterando que esa pr\u00e1ctica est\u00e1 prohibida por la normativa vigente.<\/p>\n<p>En una comunicaci\u00f3n dirigida al representante de las escuelas de surf, Jes\u00fas Perdomo, el viceministro de Recursos Costeros y Marinos, Jos\u00e9 Ram\u00f3n Reyes L\u00f3pez, inform\u00f3 que la instituci\u00f3n est\u00e1 en la mejor disposici\u00f3n de colaborar con las acciones que correspondan para atender la situaci\u00f3n planteada.<\/p>\n<p>La respuesta oficial recuerda que la Resoluci\u00f3n No. 68-2005 del Ministerio de Turismo proh\u00edbe el tr\u00e1nsito de veh\u00edculos de motor dentro de los 60 metros contados desde la pleamar, disposici\u00f3n que, seg\u00fan las escuelas de surf, no ha sido observada de manera efectiva en Playa Encuentro.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente considera que la soluci\u00f3n requiere la actuaci\u00f3n coordinada de las autoridades competentes para garantizar la protecci\u00f3n ambiental, el ordenamiento del espacio costero y la seguridad de quienes utilizan la playa para la pr\u00e1ctica del surf, actividades recreativas y otras modalidades de turismo.<\/p>\n<p>Las escuelas de surf valoraron la respuesta como el primer pronunciamiento oficial recibido tras la comunicaci\u00f3n remitida a diversas instituciones p\u00fablicas, entre ellas el Ministerio de Turismo, la Alcald\u00eda de Sos\u00faa, la Direcci\u00f3n General de Seguridad de Tr\u00e1nsito y Transporte Terrestre (Digesett), Politur y otras entidades vinculadas a la gesti\u00f3n del litoral.<\/p>\n<p>Los firmantes del reclamo reiteraron su disposici\u00f3n de colaborar con las autoridades para alcanzar una soluci\u00f3n que preserve las condiciones de Playa Encuentro, reconocida internacionalmente como uno de los principales destinos para la pr\u00e1ctica del surf en el Caribe, y garantice la seguridad de deportistas, visitantes y residentes.<script>!function(){var
